Let’s be real—every bachelorette party needs that one game that gets everyone absolutely losing it. And if you’re planning a Last Romp on the Swamp bachelorette, this is it.

I created this personalized ‘Pin the Mud on the Ogre’ game after seeing how much people love a good, ridiculous party game (especially after a few drinks). The concept? Classic ‘Pin the Tail on the Donkey’ but way funnier. I take a photo of the groom, transform him into a full-on ogre, and you and your girls get to blindfold each other and pin mud splatters all over his face. Trust me, the photos alone will be gold.

Best part? No DIY stress! I send you the printable game file, including the custom groom-ogre poster, mud splatter cutouts, and a bonus ogre face cutout (which, BTW, makes an amazing cake topper or photo prop).

Here’s how to set it up, print it perfectly, and make sure your bride is laughing so hard she cries.

What’s Included in Your Printable Game?

When you order my custom ‘Pin the Mud on the Ogre’ game, you’ll receive digital files you can print as many times as you need. Here’s what’s inside:

Personalized Ogre Poster – I take a photo of the groom and give him a full-on Shrek makeover (trust me, it’s hilarious). The high-resolution file can be printed as a poster for easy setup.

💩 Printable Mud Cutouts – What’s an ogre without a little swampy mess? These mud splatter cutouts are ready to print and cut. Bonus points if you write inside jokes or dares on them.

🎁 Bonus: Groom’s Ogre Face Cutout – This extra cutout of the groom-ogre’s face makes an amazing photo prop, decoration, or cake topper (because why not humiliate him one more time?).

💻 Instant Download – No waiting! Once I Shrek-ify the groom, you’ll receive all files via email, ready to print.

How to Print for Best Results

Since this is a digital download, here’s how to get a perfect print that lasts all night (and survives tipsy hands)!

🖼️ Printing the Ogre Poster (Main Game Board)

For best durability, I highly recommend laminating the poster so the mud splatters stick and peel off easily without damaging the print.

📏 Best Size: 18×24 inches or 24×36 inches (big enough for everyone to see & laugh at).
🖨️ Printing at a Shop? Take the file to Staples, FedEx, Office Depot, or a local print shop, and ask for:
✔️ Glossy or matte poster paper (matte helps reduce glare in photos!)
✔️ Laminating option so the mud cutouts can be removed and reused all night.

✂️ Printing the Mud Cutouts & Groom Face Cutout

✔️ Best Paper: Use cardstock (regular printer paper works, but cardstock holds up better).
✔️ Lamination Hack: If you laminate the mud cutouts, they’ll last longer—just use sticky putty instead of tape!

How to Print a Poster at Home (Step-by-Step Guide)

Don’t have access to a large-format printer? No worries! Here’s how to print your ‘Pin the Mud on the Ogre’ game at home using a standard printer:

Option 1: Print on Multiple Pages & Assemble

Most home printers can’t print large posters in one go, but you can print in sections and tape them together. Here’s how:

1️⃣ Open the PDF File in Adobe Acrobat (Free Version Works! 😊)
2️⃣ Click FilePrint
3️⃣ Under Page Sizing & Handling, select “Poster”
4️⃣ Set Tile Scale to 100% and check Cut Marks (this helps align pages)
5️⃣ Click Print – the image will be divided into multiple pages
6️⃣ Trim the edges and tape or glue the pages together on a poster board for stability
7️⃣ (Optional but recommended) Laminate the assembled poster so the mud cutouts stick & peel off easily!

Option 2: Print at 11×17 Inches for a Mini Version

If you prefer a smaller game board, set your printer to tabloid (11×17 inches) and select “Fit to Page” in the print settings. This won’t be as big as a poster, but it still works for small groups!

How to Play ‘Pin the Mud on the Ogre’

Once you’ve printed everything, here’s how to set it up for max fun:

1️⃣ Hang the Groom-Ogre Poster on the Wall – Make sure it’s at eye level for easy pinning.
2️⃣ Cut Out the Mud Pieces & Groom’s Face Cutout – Pass them out to guests.
3️⃣ Use Double-Sided Tape or Sticky Putty – This makes it easy to pin the mud but remove it without damage.
4️⃣ Blindfold the Player & Spin Them Around – Because watching someone try to stick mud on a moving target is 10x funnier.
5️⃣ Whoever Pins the Mud Closest to the Groom’s Mouth Wins!

🔥 Bonus Drinking Game Rules:

  • Miss the poster entirely? Take a shot.
  • Land on the groom’s forehead? The bride picks someone to drink.
  • Hit the mouth perfectly? Hand out a drink.
  • Knock over the poster? Chug your drink!
